Need to learn how to roast or want to improve your skills? We offer Roaster Coaching to help you get going. This is a personal service where a roaster will stand with you and help you while you roast.

With our Roaster Coaching, you will learn everything you need to get roasting including how to use the Cropster software. Sessions are available at $200 p/hour.

If your cafe uses 20kg a week…

• With a Specialty coffee average* price of $12 per kg.
• 1/2 hour of hire rate on the Geisen 15kg of $65.
• Roasting causes a 15% weight loss so 23.5kg in = 20kg out.
• 23.5*12+65 = 347.
• You pay $17.35 per kilogram for your coffee.

If your cafe uses 50kg a week...

• With a Specialty coffee average* price of $12 per kg.
• 1 hour of hire rate on the Geisen 15kg of $130.
• 58.8kg of green in = 50kg out.
• 58.8*12+130= 836
• You pay $16.72 per kilogram for your coffee.

Contract roasting means that our skilled roasters roast your beans for you.

If you don’t have the time to roast yourself, you can have us do it for you. This can be for a single occasion to cover a gap or on a regular schedule. We can also store these beans for you.
